The coffee shop is open

The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support's biggest fundraising event. We ask people across the UK - and sometimes further afield - to get together with friends and family to hold a coffee morning, where donations on the day are made to Macmillan. In 2011 51,000 people signed up to coffee morning, raising a record £10 million.

This year we have opened the coffee shop, an online shop where you can buy some exclusive products to make your coffee morning even better.

Our Macmillan green cardboard cake stand is perfect for showing off your baking. It comes flat packed, is easy to assemble and it really makes a table of treats look extra special.

These polka dot cup cake cases are great for all occasions, especially a coffee morning, and at £2.95 for 60 cases they are a bargain too.

When you are holding a busy coffee morning the last thing you want to think about it washing up, which is why our recyclable paper cups are so great.

We’ve also got lots of other baking goodies in our coffee shop to help make your day even more special. What baked goods will you be showing off on your cake stand? Tell us about your favourite cakes and biscuits using the comment button below.

If you’ve not registered to host a coffee morning this year or you want to find out more about the event you can find out more information here.

Glad you like the cakes

Laura -the marbled effect is achieved by not fully mixing in the colouring to the butter icing before piping it on the cupcakes.

William - the buying team are looking at a range of cake topping products that we are hoping to launch later in the year so watch this space

Thanks

Love the cakes - I think Laura's idea is a good one...or maybe green icing, to make the cakes feel even more like Macmillan.

Firstly, those cakes look cracking! I'd love to know how the marbling effect was achieved in the pinky ones.

I think it would be great to be able to buy those little edible cake topper things with Macmillan's logo on - what do you think?
