I chose this design because for me it depicts the true meaning of Christmas. The design is very beautiful.

Worthy cause

Have once again purchased this and other cards from the MacMillan shop who delivered them promptly and well packed. So difficult to find true Christmas cards with a Christian scene in the shops these days - all Robins and Holly. They are excellent quality at the right price so keep it up MacMillan.

Very pleased with these lovely, vibrant, reasonably priced Christmas cards with a religious theme. Will look for cards from Macmillan again next year.

Disappointment of sentiment expressed in message

Posted: 11 Dec 2016 10:29pm

Having purchased many cards with the intention of sending them to coleagues in our choir where I am known to be having treatment for cancer. The message on the back of the card seemed most inappropriate, as it explaining the difficulties a cancer patient could suffer. Almost like asking for sympathy for my condition. Most inappropriate as many have more difficult problems to contend with. All your cards were handed in to the Patrick Room at the Queen Elizabeth Hosp B'ham, for them to sell. We were given some Q E H B cards as replacements.

  • Shop team reply: Hi - thank you for leaving your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't like the message on the back of the cards I have forwarded your review product team so they are aware and we can consider it when planning our ranges next year. If you have questions about cancer or treatment the Macmillan support line is available on 0808 808 00 00 9am to 8pm, Monday to Friday. Thanks for supporting Macmillan and kind regards, Macmillan Shop Team

Nice to have a Christian theme ... card good size and I liked the little touches of glitter ... just perfect.

Of 29 cards on the website only 4 were religious. I appreciate Macmillan tries to be 'inclusive' but Christmas is a Christian festival after all. Three of the four designs either had gold foil or glitter on them. Why? It's unnecessary. This particular card has glitter all over it and looks cheap and tacky. I sent mine back for exchange.
