Macmillan Nurse rose

Peter Beales - world leaders in classic roses - have created a delightful Macmillan Nurse rose. These flowers have large, old-fashioned rosette-style blooms of white and occasionally flushed peach, borne in clusters. They are subtly scented and appear throughout the summer and autumn against dark green, glossy foliage.

The shrub will grow to occupy 90x90cm but as our current batch of roses are freshly potted they will arrive as a bare root.

Lovely rose

We bought the rose to be a reminder for Breast Cancer and the lovely treatment received from the Macmillan nurses. Rose arrived earlier than expected, although had been pruned still had a lot of green shoots, now been planted and seems to have taken OK. Will have to wait until after the winter to get the full benefit, and the lovely blooms.

I ordered this rose for a neighbour whose wife had died. I had cut it fine, ordering on Sunday for a Friday funeral. On Monday morning I received an email letting me know that it could take up to 28 days to deliver - which would obviously be too late. However, a quick phone call and a polite and understanding member of customer services told me not to worry, she'd sort it with her supervisor - leave it with her. I received the rose 2 days later. Thank you so much! Perfect rose too!

Arrived v quickly in excellent condition. Absolutely delighted with the quality of this rose. Have just ordered a further two for some v dear friends. Just a thought - would it be possible to have gift cards available to include with the rose when it is being sent to a different delivery address?

This is one of the nicest roses I have ever seen and the scent is outstanding. It is the old fashioned type of rose with quartered flowers and glossy foliage and sturdy growth. It has pride of place in our garden. We were very impressed with the delivery time and also the packaging. Thank you to Macmillan. Alan

I bought 2 roses one for me and one for my daughter in memory of my husband/her dad who died of cancer. He received overwhelming support from Macmillan. The roses arrived well packed and very healthy and already are full of buds although they are still in their pots until June. A very good buy.
